Arizona's biggest real estate deals in the past week


The founder of several pharmaceutical companies, an Internet-pornography entrepreneur, a CPA and three Scottsdale realtors are among the buyers and sellers in this week's done deals.

$4,500,000

Joseph Krivulka and his wife, Angela, paid cash for a 7,824 square-foot home with 1,137 square-foot pool originally built in 2004 at DC Ranch on the east side of the Silverleaf Club in Scottsdale. Joseph Krivulka has founded a number of successful commercial pharmaceutical management and product companies, including Triax Pharmaceuticals, a dermatology-products company and Reliant Pharmaceuticals, which markets pharmaceuticals. He founded and is chairman of Akrimax, a branded and contract manufacturing pharmaceutical company. The home was sold by Diane M. McCroy.

Charles W. Billow purchased a 6,598 square-foot home with pool originally built in 2003 at Desert Highlands in Scottsdale. The home was sold by Michael J. McEnany and Deborah A. Williamson, as Trustees of the McEnany-Williamson Revocable Living Trust.

PV Burton LLC, a Delaware limited liability company, bought an 8,737 square-foot home with 999 square-foot pool originally built in 2007 on the east side of Mummy Mountain in Paradise Valley. The home was sold by Cable Rosenberg. Rosenberg made a fortune in Internet pornography and expanded into a finance company and used-car dealerships. In 2007, he sold a 13,500 square-foot Tudor-style mansion in chandler for $12 million.

Craig A. Langel bought a 6,583 square-foot home with 748 square-foot pool originally built in 2003 at Paradise Valley Farms in Scottsdale. Langel, a certified public accountant and certified valuation analyst, is president of Langel & Associates, a consulting and tax-services company in Missoula, Mont. The home was sold by Benjamin F. Brooks, as Trustee of the Benjamin F. Brooks III Revocable Living Trust. Brooks is the founder and president of Brooks Realty & Advisory Group based in Scottsdale, with offices in Cheyenne, Casper and Laramie, Wyo. He is also majority owner of Brooks-Clark & Associates, a general real-estate brokerage firm in Lake Havasu City.

Michael McEnany and Deborah A. Williamson, as Trustees of the McEnany-Williamson Revocable Living Trust, paid cash for a 5,576 square-foot home with pool originally built in 2002 on the southern edge of the Whisper Rock Golf Club in Scottsdale. The home was sold by Herbert S. Cover and Arline E. Cover, as Trustees of the Cover Family Trust. Herbert and Arline Cover are the principals of Heureux Properties in Scottsdale.
